Okay, I’ll admit it — I’ve been gone way too long. Life has been lifing for real, but I’m back and ready to catch you up.
Summer in Full Motion
This summer was a movie.
My daughter spent time with her grandmother, and my wife and I escaped to St. Lucia Carnival for the third time. The vibes were pure magic — the music, the people, the energy — all unmatched.
“St. Lucia Carnival never misses. Even food poisoning couldn’t stop the vibes.”

Yes, I did catch a mean case of food poisoning toward the end, but I recovered and came home grateful. My wife called it her “last hurrah,” but I’m determined to keep the carnival spirit alive.
Family, Fun, and Firsts
As soon as we got back, we jumped right into our next adventure — a family cruise with 20 family members to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 70th. We sailed to Grand Turk, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
There were over 5,000 people on that ship, but we made our own lane. Princess had the time of her life — until she got a little seasick. She’s already lobbying for round two next year.
Back to Reality
Now we’re back home, and school is in full swing. Princess started 1st grade, turned 7, and had a birthday bash with her whole class. Watching her grow is a blessing — and I thank God daily for her joy and light.
Homecoming & Hustle
This past weekend was Howard Homecoming, and my Bison brothers came to town. It was all love, laughter, and nostalgia — a much-needed reminder that no matter what life throws at us, we still show up for each other.

“Life’s been lifing for all of us, but the love still runs deep.”
Now I’m back in grind mode — building momentum for St. Lucia Carnival 2026 (July 15–22). Between family life, hurricane recovery back home in Jamaica, and the daily hustle, it’s a lot — but I’m fired up and focused.
The Work Has Begun
The goal? Bring 10–12 people to experience the magic of St. Lucia next summer. The website is live — carnivalandtravel.com — and the planning is officially underway.
I won’t pretend it’s easy. I’m overwhelmed, but I’m also excited. This next chapter is about consistency, creativity, and community.
Let’s make it happen. See you in paradise.
