Yesterday, I celebrated a milestone—51 trips around the sun—and was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love on all my social media platforms. Let me tell you, it felt incredible.
Since leaving Brooklyn and the fast-paced “social broker” lifestyle behind, I’ve often felt a sense of isolation. For over 17 years, I cultivated a vibrant tribe—a community I was dedicated to serving and celebrating through my events. Moving away from that world left me feeling disconnected from the people who were such a big part of my journey.
That’s not to say I’m not in a great place now. Life is truly blessed: I have an amazing wife, a daughter who brings endless joy, and a deep sense of gratitude to God for it all. Still, I’ve carried a quiet longing for the version of me that thrived in NYC, surrounded by my tribe.
Yesterday reminded me of something important: My tribe is still there. The birthday messages, calls, and well-wishes weren’t just a celebration of another year; they were a powerful reminder that even though I’ve evolved, my community hasn’t gone anywhere. They’re cheering me on, just from a little farther away.
That love and connection reignited something in me. It affirmed that I haven’t left anyone behind—I’ve simply grown into a new chapter. And through it all, they’re still riding with me, supporting my journey as I continue to live and celebrate life to the fullest.
To my tribe: Thank you. Your love yesterday was a gift that reminded me of the power of connection, even across miles and time. I see you, I feel you, and I’m inspired to keep pushing forward. Here’s to the next chapter of living life to the fullest—together.
